SCOTT EDAN HEFTI / FINE ARTIST

Scott Hefti, a seasoned mid-western artist, got his BFA in 1982. After completing an associate degree, he began a career as an architectural draftsman, creating artwork in his spare time. He made a sharp turn back into a full time fine arts career in the early 1990’s.

He spent over a decade filling prominent, high profile corporate offices and board rooms with his landscapes, city scapes and abtract pastel drawings and oil paintings. These companies include Rockwell, Baird, G.E.Medical, Abbott and Acuity to name a few from a very lengthy list.

The time he spent creating the work allowed him to perfect his skills. He has also been a gallery artist since the late 80's for the Delind gallery and then the Katie Gingrass gallery, both in Milwaukee; the Grace Chosy gallery in Madison and the Lake Country gallery in Pewaukee, all in Wisconsin.

“Finding the next subject to draw or paint is my constant joy. I'm attracted to the subtle changes in color and light as well as the dynamic. There are always 'scapes' (landscapes, city scapes, people scapes) that attract my interest.”
